Homeschool find of the Week

\

what the heck is that white rectangle? you may be wondering!

Why,  it is one of the greatest inventions of mankind!

The whiteboard.

Lots of homeschoolers have whiteboards.   Some have made an art of making them on the cheap and including them in their decor.

This particular model, described here., is a bit different.

This is the lap whiteboard.   It is meant to be held by one student.

If you value peace in your home, one per student will be percurred!

Students can doodle all through-out the day and still have fresh clean books.

Working on math problems become fun.

Spelling words suddenly appear in multi-colors and multi-fonts.

Perhaps, your homeschool could use some lap whiteboards,

I know mine has improved for having some around.

  1. White boards have the same appeal here at our house. What is grueling work with pencil and paper somehow transforms to child's play with marker and white board. Go figure! I've enjoyed browsing your blog, thanks for stopping by mine.

  2. We have a small whiteboard we use frequently. My only problem is that my son then wants to doodle all over it all the time and then gets upset when it's time to erase so we can use it for school work!

  3. We have lap whiteboards too! They are perfect for individual teaching. I just write out their math problems or whatever for the day for each child and it's like a reusable worksheet! Thanks for your comment on my blog! I hope you are having a great school year so far!

  6. Thanks for stopping by my blog. :) I see in the sidebar here you are using the Horrible History series-- I've heard so many great things about them! We have a couple on their way through interlibrary loan. I love the "tabloid" ones as well... DS just read "The Egyptian Echo" and really enjoyed it. Anyway, nice blog!
