I homeschool so my kids have time to be kids.
. . . .One day while lounging on the beach, my beloved husband said, "This is what I want to do everyday. Is it wrong to want to live a life of leisure?" My daughter replied, "Dad, you do live the life of easier." And so we do! Here is a bit from our life of easier.
Hi, I just found your cute blog. I'm curious though, are you "Miss Moe"? I thought "Miss" was used as a title for unmarried ladies...just curious if there is some story behind your title. Please don't take this the wrong way; I am simply curious (my mom was always hammering the Miss, Mrs., Ms. rule into our heads).
ReplyDeleteI call myself Miss because traditionally teachers have been misses!
ReplyDeleteI agree! That is the perfect reason to home school.
ReplyDeleteHey! I am number #100! Woohoo! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with us today for Thursday's Friends Cafe. Love that you joined us. Happy Thursday!
Thanks so much Tammy! I was so excited to see who was my 100th follower. Feels good.
ReplyDeleteRE: Miss
ReplyDeleteI see now! Thanks for taking the time to answer my question!
Good for you. I home educated my daughter for five years.
ReplyDeleteJust popping to say hi from the Thursday blog hop and I'm following ... :0)
This is a wonderful reason to homeschool. Many in our make this decision based on this fact because we are in such a rural area it means kids are gone from 7 to 5. I dread making that choice in a couple of years.
ReplyDeleteI am hopping in from a Thursday hop and would love for you to stop by. Have a great day!

Good reason! We plan to homeschool Sweet T. I can't stand the thought of her being away from home for 7 hours a day then stuck with hours of homework when she gets home. It's ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Thursdays Friends Cafe!

LOVE it!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out my blog and your sweet comment! I love this! I always tell people I homeschool because I did a lot of work to bring them into this world, I don't think it's fair that as soon as they turn 5 I give them to somebody else to spend their entire day with and I get weekends and holidays (at least that's my edited version of what I tell people!).
ReplyDeleteMiss Moe, sorry I missed it on Wednesday, but I did get it done Thursday, as you know. I will try harder next week.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic reason to homeschool! It's one of mine as well, as well as "flexibility" and a whole lot of others :) Stopping by from the UBP.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I am excited to read through more of your blog. I love this post! It made me smile. Good reason to homeschool.
ReplyDeleteI guess that's as good a reason as any. ;)
