Why I Homeschool

I homeschool so my kids have time to be kids.

  1. Hi, I just found your cute blog. I'm curious though, are you "Miss Moe"? I thought "Miss" was used as a title for unmarried ladies...just curious if there is some story behind your title. Please don't take this the wrong way; I am simply curious (my mom was always hammering the Miss, Mrs., Ms. rule into our heads).

  2. I call myself Miss because traditionally teachers have been misses!

  3. I agree! That is the perfect reason to home school.

  8. This is a wonderful reason to homeschool. Many in our make this decision based on this fact because we are in such a rural area it means kids are gone from 7 to 5. I dread making that choice in a couple of years.

I am hopping in from a Thursday hop and would love for you to stop by. Have a great day!

  9. Good reason! We plan to homeschool Sweet T. I can't stand the thought of her being away from home for 7 hours a day then stuck with hours of homework when she gets home. It's ridiculous.

  12. Thanks for checking out my blog and your sweet comment! I love this! I always tell people I homeschool because I did a lot of work to bring them into this world, I don't think it's fair that as soon as they turn 5 I give them to somebody else to spend their entire day with and I get weekends and holidays (at least that's my edited version of what I tell people!).

  13. Miss Moe, sorry I missed it on Wednesday, but I did get it done Thursday, as you know. I will try harder next week.

  14. That's a fantastic reason to homeschool! It's one of mine as well, as well as "flexibility" and a whole lot of others :) Stopping by from the UBP.
