Memory Monday 9.12.2011

Welcome to Memory Monday!

We just returned from a trip out of town and have nothing to report from last week other than the mantra we repeated over and over while driving 1300 miles crammed into a tiny car packed full of too much stuff.

We really love our brother/son and driving him to college is totally worth it.
(Hey if you say something enough it becomes your truth!)

Moving on to this week.

We are starting out slowly with the first section of A Grammar Catechism which covers the parts of speech and nouns--defination, types, and categories of nouns.

We will also work on memorizing this quote by Joseph B. Wirthlin:

Always be willing, even anxious, to help others. Nothing else you do
will give you the same genuine satisfaction and joy within because,
and I quote, “when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are
only in the service of your God.” (Mosiah 2:17.)

For math memorizing common fractions expressed as decimals will be the order of the week.

1/1=1
1/4=0.25
1/2=0.5
3/4=0.75
1/3=0.3
2/3=0.6
1/5=0.2
2/5=0.4
3/5=0.6
4/5=0.8

What are you memorizing this week?
