I homeschool so I can happen upon big sister helping her younger brother with algebra just for the joy of helping.

. . . .One day while lounging on the beach, my beloved husband said, "This is what I want to do everyday. Is it wrong to want to live a life of leisure?" My daughter replied, "Dad, you do live the life of easier." And so we do! Here is a bit from our life of easier.
I love it when they help each other too, with no prompting. Sibling rivalry is common, so getting along is awesome to me. My son loves to teach his little sister, she is the poor pupil though, LOL! She is a little on the stubborn side.
ReplyDeleteI was homeschooled and it made a huge difference for me. I was dyslexic and HATED to read. I doubt I would have become the avid reader that I am today if my mom hadn't chosen to keep me home and take my education into her own hands. I am looking forward helping to instill a love of reading and learning in my children as well.
